Inspiration & Spiritual Connection Books

I’m an avid reader and long-time self-help researcher.  Along the way I’ve found some remarkable books that have really resonated with me and helped me to achieve and maintain a strong connection with my higher Self.

It was not until Benji embarked upon his recovery that he was able to embrace some of these wonderful books for the truly powerful guidance they provide.  But… once he did, we elevated our connection with each other and certainly with the Universe as a whole.

Following is just a selection of our “top picks” for spiritual connection – Benji even says that Joe Vitale’s “The Key” – mimics the 12-step process – not the language but… the connection to the steps.

We hope you enjoy them all.

Overcoming Addiction Books

The 12-step program and the “Big Book” is perhaps the most well known resource for addiction recovery.  But we are just a little different… got to think outside the box as well.  We’re all in kind of people – so, if 12-steps or Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) is just not resonating with you yet you’d still like to overcome addiction… check out some of the books below.  Benji and I found many of these during his stay in rehab when we we’re hungry for ANY tool that would make the process easier, more connected and with more chance of long-term success!

Personally, I think that the 7 Tools to Beat Addiction is one of the most helpful and inspiration that I read throughout the process.  Admittedly – I’m not a huge AA fan – the steps… yes, the general culture – not for me.  So, I knew that I needed something more tangible to hold on to that did NOT require that I personally adopt the AA culture… 7 Tools got me right where I needed to be – so profound – I hope you love it as much as I did!
